EOYs are coming in around 1 and a half week
and we have a english essay test on merchant of venice on wednesday
after RE congress
because of some stupid reasons like .... ahem
not that i really care
or rather what sam soo calls nonchalant

Last week history lesson was quite fun
fun as in funny
cos sarvanan was telling us abt the 1964 internal riots
where the malays were celebrating something when all of a sudden the fighting started
then him being random asked us how the fighting was sparked off
the prob was that the reason wasnt in the textbook
then he was like acting so disappointed
abt why we didnt bother to find out
then dunno who started telling him that someone threw something at the Malays
and he started asking what exactly was being thrown
as if that was really what happened
but the whole class didnt know anything anyway
so we started guessing things like bottles,shoes, rubbish (did i mention ramesh)

THEN OF ALL PPL ZHENG SHUN STOOD UP AND SAID

" Sir i know what they were throwing!"

i think the whole class believed what him for a sec
then he said

"THEY WERE THROWING TANTRUMS. Thats why got all the fighting"

Then last week there was RE Presentations (part 2)

String of disappointing performance lately
my form dropping
i think started b4 term3 ended liao
Lost to 2A yesterday
1-2
not too bad
considering the fact that we'd already assured ourselves
while changing in the toilet
that 2A was a tough nut to crack
and a lost seemed like the only option

Took a surprise lead thru tiz
quite imba
but we let in 2 goals after that
even more imba

not really trying to blame anyone here
we have a match against D this friday anyway
and its important for us win by a large margin
considering the fact that we are lying fourth
with 2I below us

Quite surprising actually
that 2I lost to D today
another 1-2 story
now as u would have guessed
D is in 3rd place!

we'll get it back this friday
and i think its a good time to try our subs

and clarence has a new plan

was a bad day
got a bit pissed when martyn mistook me for hui jun on facebook
then asked clarence how he would answer if he was in my place

There was 2 guys, A and B, playing soccer together. A said "Hey, ur boots very nice!"
B's shoes did not have any logo or brands on it though.
A was interested in getting a pair of boots like B's
so he asked
"Hey what's the brand of ur shoes?"
and B replied "CHINA (china brand)"

u all these days whenever we see something 'made in china' we all refer to it as china brand so yea, thats a lame one for u
if it ever made sense to u

today lesson quite funny during history
saravanan returned the cct papers
then when it was tizian's turn he called "IBACH!"
and tizian replied immediately "DONT CALL ME BY MY LAST NAME!" (although i thought i heard him say "dun call me by my mother name"
then saravanan was like laughing
except that hes mouth is shut as usual
then after tiz got his paper back
he turned around to look at saravanan
and he pretend to be fierce and screamed "THANK YOU SANGIAH!"
then the class started laughing again

when saravanan called yee kiats name he was like "yee kee" then the whole class started talking abt iggy chua
then after lesson went to find iggy to tell him abt it
then he was like

The sad thing is, i wont be there
apparently, i'll be somewhere in the campus trying to memorise my lines for the RE semifinals tmr
our class is really imba with a total of 10 ppl in the semifinals
which is like a third of the class
mr singh will be so proud
and i hope morrison can return to the top of all the houses to win the house championship again
too bad i cannot play soccer after school tmr
cos i got some RSP symposium with RGS, ACSI and VS.

Sum up interclass matches held this week:
2K doesnt seem to click together well although they have pro ppl
who can rise up to the occasion
but without kim
kuan wei playing up front alone
and hes the only one in front without support
and effectively neutralised
i think the idea of suspension can be devastating
the attack could do with some help
but their set up to goals are always exciting
and the occasional spark/inspiration from shawn lim and hong zhi
with kuan wei striving to get at every ball
im sure they can make it to the nxt round
although it seems bleak

not sure about the scores for 2L and 2P
but i heard something from clarence
which i assumed was bad news
but from what i observed
weetoh and samuel were doing great
with graham marshalling rhe defence with confidence
but chou leong seemed surprisingly quiet

2G seems pro all of a sudden
but jesse was a bit despo though
and miao attacked with him
but perhaps not as a playmaker this time though

losing my form rapidly
injured my little finger while playing softball in PE
watch out han jie
better teach me something good so i wont injure myself whole playing softball again

nat mah might be suspended for our nxt match for deliberate handball which he tried to pass off as something else

where victoria managed to get into the final when they lost their semifinal match

Looking back
this blog was set up early last year
so i dunno if this is a good sign or bad sign

so i shall attempt to round up what has happened so far

Went for the workshop yesterday to prepare for merchant of venice drama challenge
haha u must be wondering what a sound/lights guy doing there
when it's meant for directors and actors
i dunno too
but chester was supposed to go with nat mah
then in the end he got rugby match couldnt go
so i went in his place
and managed to not go for msp with cik. ambri

The workshop was quite fun though
quite interactive
but all about the directing stuff
abit sian but at least still better

yesterday was quite funny
in the morning during interaction time we were all talking abt the reciting of the pledge at 8:22pm
turns out quite a number didnt read the pledge
and we started being creative to work out excuses
and zheng shun was like "I couldn't recite the pledge because i was driving the president home!"

Screwed up big time this afternoon while playing soccer during lunch
missed quite a lot of balls
luckily for interclass soccer we have zheng shun
2H's homegrown talent haha
perhaps me trying to play better has gotten the better of me
i need someone more neutral
someone to pass my thoughts and theories of good defending to

quie happy last week
cos i was so called "reunited" with one of my most respected friends in primary school on facebook
As in i respect him alot
dunno about others
but hee quite a nice guy i think
leaving our school to transfer to another school at P4 is no easy thing
especially when u have to let go all that u have accumulated for the past 4 years
ok lets not dwell into the concept of letting go for now

apparently hes playing the cornet in St. Patrick's military band now
and i dun doubt that hes better than me at these band stuff haha
considering that they got gold wid honours at SYF 09
and we only got silver

i think it was supposed to be easy

Life's been a bit random these few days.
Discussed the true meaning of life with hui jun yesterday for quite some time

PE was quite ok yesterday.
Played soccer as a class and there was chaos every where because it was overcrowded.
Somehow i suck everytime i play soccer with my class
not that im saying that my class sucks
just that im not used to the style of playing

Slightly comforted during recess when i played soccer because it was something familiar to me.
Got lucky and scored one goal
i think u call that a fluke or something
just that i saw tizian standing where i has aimed for and thought that was too easy for him to clear but somehow he jumped away as if he was acting as a dummy for my goal
then hui jun didnt have enough time to react
Then sam soo and others in uniform (ahem...) were like cheering T.T
totally random and soo was saying "I had my money on that"

but i think this week's best player was shaun lim
mayb its because i havent seen much action this wk so he stands out
but hes ALWAYS so composed
the way he attacks is unbelievable
and his way of defending certainly doesnt lose out to the average guy
maybe i might change my mind tmr because fridays are when a lot of ppl from our batch come down to play soccer
but i think i shouldnt let tmr's match affect my opinion about everyone
unless it's postive
but shining in a single macth doesnt say much too it's too early to say anything

hui jun had a flawless performance yesterday
and sam soo was like praising him all the way
but that ended making hj abit uncomfortable i guess
he was like asking me if sam was being sarcastic
and that whether the praises were too patronising
so we spent the whole afternoon talking about it
i guess hes just new to it haha

Im getting more racist as days pass
for no reasons
i keep making refernces to China and India
dammit

English drama challenge some major screwup i think
i wanted to go for sound/lights (my expertise in AV)

cos joshua was behaving like ryan when he was chosen for some other role

siimilar to what he did to be IT rep telling mrs ramesh "hey ma'am i was IT rep last year with yiuyin so we shld IT rep again" when he was nominated for some other position

but seriously visual arts is fun
wei hing doing sound/lights too so mayb i shld join him and overthrow josh
but the guys in set design seem quite sincere too...

everyone seems to be making fun of mrs chor nowadays
theres even a facebook page on her! called "Don't touch the machines!"
and everyone trying to imitate her voice
ended up mrs ramesh being paranoid
cos she was using "enough! enough!" quite a lot in class
and clarence was always using the mrs chor voice to say "Guys, enough is enough.."

tried to imitate wei hing yesterday
acted emo
and used it against wei hing himself
he was like " what are u laughing at?"
and i said "ur face vey funny today"
then he was laughing and asking "huh what u say..."
and i told him " u screw up my life lar u!" and dao-ed him
but didnt make him emo
coz i gave myself away too easily
